Overview

Lilgap Jĭǐ Oqǐpa was founded durring the late 11th century, by Kazzeind. The establishment of Lilgap Jĭǐ Oqǐpa was somewhat plagued by a lack of willing colonists, leading to Kazzeind electing to pay people to resettle in Lilgap Jĭǐ Oqǐpa.

Lilgap Jĭǐ Oqǐpa was built using the conventions of KLEO durring the late 11th century. Naturaly, all settlmentss have their own look to them, and Lilgap Jĭǐ Oqǐpa is no diffrent. The city's buildings feature waddle and daub construction with good timber frames and a stone foundation protected by thatched or shingled rooves. Most buildings with second floors are built in such a way as to overhang into the streets on the upper floors for more space, as building size seems to be the primary indicator of wealth within the community. Most buildings are not decorated with any integral features, but instead use ivy, flowers, and other natural elements in planters of on trellices to breathe life into the structure they grow upon.

Lilgap Jĭǐ Oqǐpa is buildings are speckled and packed arround premissive cobblestone streets with seemingly no patern to them. It appears as if the city's residents simply built streets as they pleased and squeazed buildings in wherever and howeave rpossible, creating an organic, frustrating to navigate, maze of a city. The city rests behind the absurdity that is a thick, timber braced, wall made of clay bricks. While visualy impressive and certainly an astetic, Lilgap Jĭǐ Oqǐpa's wall provides no actual defence against siege equipment due to the choice of its cosntruction materials. Even nonexperts can tell the town is trying to impress rather than defend with its walls, towers, and gatehouses. Though admittedly, they do look nice... To primitive tribals who have never seen fortifications before. The political statment focused walls have not been wellmaintained over the years, and while functional are in dire need of some loving care and perhapse light renovation.

A look around Lilgap Jĭǐ Oqǐpa gives you an uneasy feeling. Everything is just a little too worn down, a little too dirty, or both. No one makes eye contact. Kids play quietly, but happily. Occasionally a passerby glances at you out of the corner of their eye, staring just long enough for it to be uncomfortable. A second look around Lilgap Jĭǐ Oqǐpa makes it abundantly clear the city suffered something horrible some time ago. It's as if the town itself is depressed. Smiles are few, cheer is nowhere to be had.
